My next birthday is three months away. Here is a list of things I’d love to do before I turn 24.
Some are first times, some not. Some are easy and get-able, others tough, unreachable. But all are things I totally love and are possible.
Time and again, I shall come strike the ones I complete. The leftovers, if any, shall find their way into the next list.
- bake a cake from scratch
- make a baby quilt
- save money for tuition fees
- make a trip to Mahabalipuram
- read a classic
- attend a school/college reunion
- hold a puppy in my arms
- paint a clay article
- donate blood
- get a new ear piercing
- run a 5K
- visit a pottery painting store
- make a single, strong new year resolution (and keep it, of course)
- go to cinema with father (and buy his choice of flavored popcorn!!)
- visit a gurudwara
- eat sushi
- fill the piggy bank regularly (and break it open on the birthday)
- (try to) write a poem
- write and post a letter to someone
- get a sandstone fitted finger ring
- learn to make fish curry
- eat ‘death by chocolate’ at corner house ice-creams
- make my own set of bookmarks
- visit underprivileged children on a festival day

1, 9, 12, 14, 16, 21, 22 are all about food. A third of the things you want to do in your life, involve food ……. just saying … ;)
